“the brAIn” is my free weekly newsletter and ongoing resource that lays out the transformational power, promise and perils of generative AI, and gives you concrete tools and exclusive insider “news you can use” to take action and turn perils into exciting new possibilities. Of course, I keep it real and call some people and companies out! But I do it only as a “call to arms” to ultimately prioritize humanity over technology.
“the brAIn” features my “insider” insights and analyses on the transformational world of generative AI and its impact on the worlds of media, music, entertainment and the entire creative economy, not to mention on art and creativity itself. It also identifies, tracks, and features regular updates on the key AI-focused legal cases that impact the media and entertainment community. It will arrive in your inbox every Monday morning to start your week and give you a look ahead.
In addition to my musings across a full spectrum of generative AI-related issues that impact media and entertainment, “the brAIn” features the insights of other curated experts and leading players across the AI, tech, media, entertainment and creative communities. I also plan to launch a new companion “the brAIn” podcast series where I interview those leading players who are transforming the overall media and entertainment landscape by leveraging generative AI (or otherwise playing a significant role amidst the transformation).
The point is for my newsletter and this site to be important ongoing resources for you - as well as to function as a collective and very human gathering spot - so that we together can leverage the power and promise of generative AI and take action to use it as an exciting new tool for extended creativity, rather than be passively overtaken by fear and guardrail-less, overwhelming machinations.
I’ve already populated “the brAIn” website with my AI-focused media and entertainment articles of the past year or so - a “brAIn dump,” if you will. So sign up to receive “the brAIn” for free directly in your inbox every Monday morning.
